is it possible to use my television as a computer monitor and, if so, how would I hook it up?
I have a toshiba laptop but I’m not sure what cables I need and where I would plug them in.
OK – I hooked up the S-cable and had it set as a monitor. When I hit the identify button a one came up on the computer screen and a two came up on the tv. So it works but I can’t get anything else to come up on the tv – clearly I’m missing something.

You need an s-video cable. Must have the connections on the tv and the comp. Run the sound out of the headphone jack. Good luck.
