How can I watch all my programs on my Dell TV? Can I use my TV as a monitor?

I wish watching movies and other programs on my TV from my computer. How do I turn my TV on my computer screen? What programs do I need to buy and install to do this?

You do not need fancy programs, but your graphics card must support it. Generally both your TV and your graphics card need a S-video port (and then you'll need an S-video) (see sources for photos / information on S-video). Then you'll need to connect your computer using the s-video and look around your graphics card utility configuration of the graphics card (nVidia is the NVIDIA Control Panel, under Control Panel) and look around the function of multi-display configuration. But the movies you Watch on your computer are probably not a high enough resolution to look great on TV really important. There other methods connection other than S-video, but I am not familiar with them. Good hunting.
