PS3 HDMI to DVI cable, LCD monitor problems?
I just bought a HDMI to DVI cable for my PS3, I just plugged my PS3 using this cable and I have my computer hooked up simultaneously to the same screen using the entry VGA (monitor double entry) is the monitor im using if it helps to "Viewsonic VA2012wb" My problem is that the monitor does not display the PS3 at all, blank screen and I can not hear any sound, I tried to hold the reset button for 6 seconds, not still not working my monitor has a button that switches from analog to digital, I did it but its still empty, if any1 can help me would be very appreaciated.
This is very bad. I am facing the same problem, My screen is hp pavilion f1903. I bought a DVI-HDMI. but it occurred the same problem as you said. u get his usual even if you are connected there. u'll need avi supported sound system or a digital optical cable. It supports my speakers so I bought a digital optical cable also. but also does not work. I do not know what the problem is dvi with the PS3. plz let me know if you have a solution anywhere (Y! answers or your sources). this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Good luck
